A proud alumni of the School of Architecture & Planning (SAP) at Anna University, Michelle started her architectural practice while still in her final year at college. She has worked with some of Chennai's best architectural firms - K.S Ranganath Architecture, and Design Tech (Chandrakanth & Yazhini) before moving to the Middle East and working at Qatar's then leading Design & Build start-up, Mantech Solutions as Design Head. After returning to India, she changed gears and dived into the creative educational realm of the start-up industry with Imagin8ors (owned by Minveli Software Solutions) and Learning Matters pvt ltd. Having completed her Executive Masters in Business Administration, with a specialization in Design and Strategy, and being a health enthusiast she put her management skills to use and co-founded OPOS100 (owned by OPOS Health & Wellness pvt ltd), all the while still running Michelle Shyam Architects successfully. Clients and friends know Michelle as a creative, passionate and critical thinker with exceptional business acumen.

Having graduated from the prestigious SRM Engineering College with a bachelor's in architecture, he worked with K.S Ranganath Architecture on commercial and institutional designs before moving to Dubai for a few years and gaining experience in Interior Design & Build. His learnings brought him to Qatar where he worked with Mantech Solutions in the capacity of Project Manager. On returning to Chennai after about 7 years, Shyam worked at Pithavadian & Partners on large scale industrial and residential projects. With this experience he then moved on to work with Bharathi Homes to further gain knowledge in the real estate industry. Enamored by the start-up space, he was absorbed into LivSpace as a
Design Manager managing interior projects with a large team of design associates. Intrigued by contracting and construction, Shyam later joined K.G Bright Enterprises as Chief Operating Officer and worked there till he rejoined Michelle as director at Michelle Shyam Architects. Shyam's career spans 17 years and his knowledge on building materials and construction is unsurpassed.
